These reins feature a smooth but grippy rubber pattern with hand stitched leather stoppers every 5cm. Extremely soft rubber, gives a spongy soft feel in the hand.

They are really flexible and thin. I’m really impressed with the grip they have - one of the few pairs of reins I have found that don’t slip. Would definitely recommend.
Bought on recommendation as I have quite arthritic hands. Definitely give me much better grip than more traditional reins with stops that I was using
I can't believe how much of a difference these reins make. They're soft, springy and so much more comfortable to hold than anything else I've tried. They have a lovely weight to them which makes them feel very secure.

My youngster wasn't happy in his old bridle. Shaking his head alot. After alot of research I decided to bite the bullet and go for a Henry James. Total game changer. Great bridle and great customer service. Would highly recommend.
Super soft sheepskin and beautifully designed, very smart and love the comfort style shape. My mare is very happy in this and looks fantastic!
The bridle fitter was easy to use, the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

I bought this as a second. It has the tiniest marks where it has had cheekpieces buckled to it maybe once, which I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been trying to work out why it was a second. I love these headpieces, and have them on all my bridles now.
I had bought previously from HJ and loved the quality of the leather. I treated myself to a new bridle because i loved them so much, a month later our tackroom was broken into and cleaned out. The team (Dan) went above and beyond to help me replace my stolen bridles, I can't thank him and the enough. The bridle arrived beautifully packaged alongside the stirrup leathers . I will be buying again once insurance is sorted and replacement saddles have arrived. I'm eyeing up the T bar dressage leathers
