This elegant cavesson bridle is carefully crafted from the finest English Sedgwick leather and features an anatomic headpiece to offer maximum pressure relief thanks to its cut back anatomical design in conjunction with generous lightweight padding.

The throat lash strap has been strategically integrated into the headpiece to reduce the bulk in the sensitive TMJ area and allowing for the noseband and cheek piece buckles to lie flat against the horses skin.

The cavesson noseband is well padded providing a comfortable surface against the horses skin and features an elegant round raised design.

Fantastic quality, super soft leather. Perfect sizing, so easy to fit! My boy looks very smart in it, just a lovely bridle with a useful bag to store it (and all the separate pieces) in. Would definitely recommend and will be purchasing if I ever need another one

Lovely bridle

I usually have Fairfax bridles but I wanted something a little finer for my section D mare. Really pleased with the fit of the Henry James bridle, lovely soft, quality leather.
Also super quick to put on, a lot of bridles have the crank nose bands which can be fiddly to put on, but the noseband on the Henry James is super simple and quick to do up without catching her whiskers.
Highly recommend and would purchase over Fairfax in the future.
Also really recommend the Xtreme Eventer Hybrid Rubber reins to go with!

Beautiful Quality Bridle

I’ve been on the hunt for a new ‘comfort’ bridle for a while. I had the opportunity to get a feel for some of the products I was considering at Burghley horse trials and I knew this was the one for me.
The bridle feels beautiful to handle and the individual components mean a perfect fit is easily achievable.
My horse is a Warmblood, in between Cob and Full so I always dither.
I opted for the Full which has adjusted to approximately half way on every setting .
The bridle is beautifully crafted with simplicity and attention to detail.
I’m very pleased with my purchase.
I will no doubt add to my HJ collection.

Beautiful Leatherwork

I have a poll sensitive mare and have admired HJS for a very long time. I finally chose to upgrade my bridle and I am so glad I did. The way it feels, the design, the anatomical fit of the headpiece, the whole thing is just perfection. I cannot complain in anyway at all. She looks so smart in it and is far more comfortable. Head shaking stopped immediately and is now a distant memory. The leather is so soft and the customer service was excellent. Thank you for making a beautiful bridle without a flash.
