Have been looking for quite a while for some grippy yet soft reins and my search is now over. These “ride” perfectly and will definitely be back soon for the same in black for my dressage bridle.

I purchased the V-grip rubber reins after riding out a livery horse for his owner and finding them extremely comfortable in my slowly aging hands. I suffer from dupytrens contraction and have a weakening ability to keep a good grip, often finding reins slipping in my fingers. These reins are perfect for me, they’re not too wide or chunky, or too narrow, they’re reasonably soft and very comfortable in my hands and have sufficient grip that they don’t slip. I’m delighted with them! The leather is also of excellent quality and I was immediately able to attach them to my bridle without any struggle with the billets. An excellent excellent product; I’ll be back for further pairs for my other horses!

I now have four sets of these reins and they are great for all activities with the horses ! I have very bad arthritis in my hands fingers and I’m able to hold these reins between my fingers without any pain even when the horse is pulling 👍

This is the first time I have purchased anything from HJ and it won’t be the last. The reins are so soft and easy in the hands, absolutely love the quality and they match my bridle well.

I just love the quality of your product s. When it comes to leather work I was always taught to buy the best you can afford. I am by no means rich but I am always so pleased with my purchases
