The grackle noseband has been designed to help prevent the horse from crossing their jaw and opening their mouth and features soft padding for maximum comfort.

  • Noseband fastens either side of the bridle providing a symmetrical fit.
  • Strong Stainless Steel fixings.
  • English Sedgwick leather.
  • Chin buckle guard.
  • Soft sheepskin padding around the front of the noseband.

(Nosebands are only compatible with headpieces that buckle either side)

Cob size black grackle

Excellent quality, the cob size fits our 13.3h new forest very well with room for adjustment, he was unfazed putting it on so must be very comfortable just like the rest of his bridle with no rings to rub near his cheek bones like some other grackles, only leather with padding that forms to his face.
He now feels like a Mercedes with the HJ logo embossed on the nose pad

Lovely smell of quality leather

We really like the Henry James bridle fitted for us at Colne saddlery and the ease to switch between nose bands as and when needed is fab.
Clearly quality leather well designed for a connies head.

Beautiful but does not fit properly

I ordered this beautiful grackle in a cob size as my boy has a small head for a 16.2. I had to return it as it was too small and ordered the full size instead. Sadly it's too big but I have ended up keeping it and punching some extra holes in the leather. Still too big though
