Emma I was worried about the width of the noseband - 2 inches sounds like a lot! But it looks perfect on my horse when joined to the rest of his Henry James bridle. He is large though - a 17.2hh Irish Draught - so it may be a bit thick for smaller or finer faces. The quality is flawless, as ever with Henry James products. I'm delighted! Let's hope the show judges will think so too :)

Susan L I love all my Henry James bridlework and waited ages to buy the Hunter Noseband and Browband. Whilst I can't fault the quality of the product, unfortunately, there are no pictures of the noseband on the website and it was far too heavy and wide in comparison to the cheekpieces to give a pleasing look. Please can you develop one that is narrower? 1 1/4" and 5/8-3/4" browband would suit a lot more horses?

Anne Fowlie I had been waiting for the hunter noseband to come out so that I could build a bridle for my Highland Pony. Our dressage marks had deteriorated and there were real issues with inconsistent contact. A bridle fitter had assessed my previous bridle about 18 months before . I had bought the HJ measuring tape which is very easy to use. I was surprised to find that he needed a mix of cob,full and extra full parts. The company were very helpful as I wanted to order before it was actually on the website.
I can only say that his way of going is transformed. He feels SO much happier. He is also jumping more freely. I do hope this is maintained. The leather is lovely and the colour really good as it will not look out of a place with a brown or black saddle- it is a dark brown. Highly recommended!
