These reins feature small pimples in a chevron formation rubber pimples with hand stitched leather stoppers every 5cm. A very grippy & soft rein. The small bobbles are rounded on the top making them comfortable to hold with or without gloves.
These reins last really well and have a superb grip. The spacing of the markers is perfect and allows easy reference for having an even contact.

Ok admittedly I purchased these a while ago but from day 1 I thought my horse was holding his neck to 1 side, chiropractor and physio for the horse and me couldn’t find any wonkyness, turns out the reins are different lengths order (#21430)

Amazing reins
This is my 2nd pair of these reins. My 1st pair had lasted me about 8 years of pretty much daily use. Super grippy even in the rain, great for jumping and fast work. Lovely and soft and flexible - I personally wouldn’t buy leather work anywhere else!
I had bought previously from HJ and loved the quality of the leather. I treated myself to a new bridle because i loved them so much, a month later our tackroom was broken into and cleaned out. The team (Dan) went above and beyond to help me replace my stolen bridles, I can't thank him and the enough. The bridle arrived beautifully packaged alongside the stirrup leathers . I will be buying again once insurance is sorted and replacement saddles have arrived. I'm eyeing up the T bar dressage leathers
